The juice recipe I am sharing is to boost my energy field and to relieve my achy muscles and joints from my yoga practice and day to day work ethics, it’s boldly sweet and spicy. Life can be so daunting and at times I feel like I am literally on the battlefield. Instead of patching up my wounds I am energizing my body for the zest of life. This juice recipe is a combination of grapes, blueberries, mint and a large knob of ginger to provide an energizing zing to the juice. Strongly, I believe our body tells us what we need and lately my body has been desiring blueberries, grapes, mint and ginger.
Blueberries, an antioxidant that is known to slow down the signs of aging and reduces free radicals.
Grapes provide your body with a boost of energy, reduces inflammation, calms the nervous system, stimulates bowel movement and is a natural diuretic.
Ginger provides many healing properties, here are a few: Nausea, indigestion, upset stomach, heartburn, gas, stomach cramps, vomiting from chemotherapy, morning sickness, motion and sea sickness; The root heals muscle and joint pain, sprains, arthritis, migraines, menstrual cramps, sinusitis and head aches.
Mint relieves spasms in the gastrointestinal tract and gas.
Boldly Sweet & Spicy Juice Recipe
1/2 lb. grapes
1 pint of blueberries
a large handful of mint
large knob of ginger
Juice all the ingredients and enjoy this sweet and spicy juice.
