Sarah Owen created this immune strengthener, celery carrot lemon juice, and I had to share this nutritious tangy recipe with you. This juice is highly effective at boosting the immune system. Celery contains coumarins, a phytochemical that helps to enhance the activity of immunity defending white blood cells. Coumarins are useful in cancer prevention also the compound lowers blood pressure and may be useful in cases of migraines. Carrots are a rich source of beta carotene. Two carrots provide roughly four times the recommended daily allowance (RDA) of vitamin A. Carrots are an excellent source of antioxidant compounds that protect against cardiovascular disease and cancer. Lemons are alkalizing and an excellent source of vitamin C, a good source of vitamin B6, potassium and they have antiseptic qualities. This juice is tangy, satisfying and strengthens the body.
