This juice is an organic meal on the go, juice . The blend of spinach, cucumber, celery, apples and lemon infused with basil and mint is the absolute nutritious meal in a glass. My intent when creating the organic meal on the go was to provide my body with the vegetables, herbs and fruit I needed for my well being.  This juice is ideal for the person who may not have the time to sit down for a nutritious meal.  When you drink the juice, you’ll feel the energizing effects of the ingredients.

I am always looking for foods to increase my energy and improve my hair, skin, nails and lately eye sight. Spinach and cucumber provides me with those nutrients.  Each of the ingredients I have chosen has a purpose.  The basil and mint were chosen for their settle flavors and as a mild digestive aid.  Lemon was added because of the antiseptic qualities within the fruit to alkalize and provide vitamin C, vitamin B6 and potassium.  The apples are used for the flavor, pectin and the high amount of vitamin A from the apple peel to improve my skin, eyes, digestive tract and immune system. Be careful with the lemon because too much lemon will overwhelm the juice, making it too tart.  Enjoy!

Nutrients: coumarin, Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, C, K, biotin, calcium potassium, flavonoids, limonim, minerals e.g. chloride, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, silicon, sodium and sulfur.

6 celery stalks

4 handful of baby spinach

2 small apples or 1 large apple (include skin)

1 cucumber (include skin)

2 sprigs of mint

1 handful of basil leaves

1 wedge of lemon

Alternate the ingredients through the juicer and enjoy
