Spinach grape juice provides you with energy while detoxifying

[dropcap1]T[/dropcap1]here are certain essentials in life we cannot do without, for me spinach grape juice happens to be one of those elements.  I gave this juice the name Sweet and Delicious because the taste is exactly that.  One of my favorite vegetables to juice is spinach; I juice it all the time.  What I love about this vegetable is how well it blends with fruit and other vegetables, particularly, the combination of spinach and red grapes. Spinach seems to naturally adopt the flavor of grapes when the two are combined; although the color is green, the taste is predominately the flavor of fresh pressed grape juice with a slight twist.

Whenever I make this juice for my friends they are amazed by the delicious taste.  Naturally, people assume the taste of spinach would overwhelm the grapes.  What happens is the complete opposite, the sweetness of the grapes dominate the flavor.   Not only is this juice unbelievably tasty the combined essence create a marvelous detoxifier while providing your body with a boost of energy.  Please use organic grapes and spinach, avoid the conventional grapes and spinach as they are on EWG’s Dirty Dozen list.  Enjoy the taste and the experience!!

  1. I’ve been looking for a (good) spinach juice. Gonna pick up some today. Thanks!

  2. Spinach is one of my favorite vegetables, I tend to add much more spinach to this juice because the red grapes do dominate the flavor. If it’s too sweet, I will sometimes juice a 1/4 lemon, this will decrease the sweetness quite a bit. You will enjoy the taste either way. Enjoy!

  3. I made spinach grape juice this morning with my blender and a five gallon paint strainer from Home Depot. You blend the spinach and grapes, pour into the strainer and squeeze, Squeeze with your hands. It is a great blend.

  4. Sounds good, it is so much easier placing the ingredients in a juicer, the results are wonderful. Next time try a juicer, less work, great benefits. Enjoy! 🙂

  5. At FRESH & EASY, they had a special just this week (4/20/12). Muscat Grapes!! Incredibly sweet. So, I blended them with organic spinach, kale and several handfuls of lettuce. Then used the 5 gallon paint strainer cloth to squeeze the juice. Even loaded down with greens, it was still very sweet.

Another tip for blender juicing, if you don’t want to add water, use green coconut water. It is considered the best electrolyte drink for athletes, giving extra life, flavor and nutrition to any juice.

  6. First I love your website! Secondly, I tried this recipe but added an apple and 1 fresh pineapple and that topped it off nicely!

  7. I am new to juicing and have been close to ready to give up… can’t find anything that I don’t have to GAG down! BUT this recipie is AMAZING! I absolutely love it and I am sure my husband will too. In fact I think I could get the kids to drink it.. if I could hide the color! Maybe I’ll serve it to them in the dark! HA!
